Over the past 40 years Rene Bazinet’s talent served the most famous North American and European Theatres. He graced the stages of the Circus Roncalli in Germany and Berlin’s Wintergarten Variete, as well as those of the Teatro de la Fenice in Venice Italy and the prestigious Opera de Paris.

He shined as the Master of Ceremony or in his numerous Clown guises for Just For Laughs and the Cirque Du Soleil for which he traveled the world. Whether in Hamburg, Tokyo, Montpellier, Montreal or Munich, he is as much at ease in the Director or Clown number creator’s chair as he is on stage.

He directed the clowns called The Movers for Cirque Du Soleil’s production of Zarkana at the Radio City Hall in New York , while his two numbers Baseball and Western were part of the Cirque Du Soleil production of Saltimbanco for over 20
years.

He is now living in Montreal giving workshops to whoever is interested in Physical Theatre, Mime, and Clowning. He speaks fluent German, English and French.
