More About Marie-Pier Poulin
Marie-Pier Poulin is an actress and singer with a passion for physical theatre. She began her training in musical theatre at the École de Théâtre Professionnel at Collège Lionel-Groulx, then went on to complete her conservatory studies in theatre at Montclair State University in New Jersey. It was there that she discovered a deep love for physical theatre, which led her to further specialize through a summer program at the École Internationale Jacques Lecoq in Paris, Commedia dell’arte training in Italy with maestro Antonio Fava, and clowning with Philippe Gaulier in France and with Francine Côté and Jean Saucier at the Clown and Comedy School in Montreal.
Following her extensive studies, Marie-Pier launched her professional career with a musical theatre tour in Italy. She eventually returned to Montréal, where she has since established herself in the fields of musical theatre, contemporary theatre, street performance, and physical theatre. Her versatility has helped her carve out a unique space in the artistic community. Today, she’s excited to share everything she’s learned from these diverse chapters, blending them into a style that is uniquely her own.
